Brock Purdy awaits for treatment decision after his ligament injury

WASHINGTON – In order to arrive at a conclusion on the treatment that should be administered to his injured right elbow, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is currently awaiting second opinions. On the sixth play of the game on Sunday, Purdy suffered a tear to the ulnar collateral ligament. This happened when Eagles pass rusher Haason Reddick pinned Purdy’s arm while Purdy was in the motion of throwing the ball.

“I still have some options to weigh and will make a final decision soon,” Purdy said Tuesday, via video from Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury News.
